Not just this forum but this is where I will put my information ,It is sad to see a new born duckling not thriving ,I have found a few things that have worked for me more than once (i)I put duck starters in my mouth with some water and chew to make a soft pulp.I then put this on the front of my tongue and put the baby ducks beak into my mouth.Sometimes it takes a while but the the little beak starts to remove the food.With this method you can tell how much has been eaten. 2 )A warm bath with some duckweed .this encourages the duckling to swim and therefore move it's legs the way it does to get out of the shell.this movement encourages the yoke sac to absorb,which can be fatal if it doesn"t happen. The duckweed is a great encouragement to eat I hope this is of some use. thanks
