Hi could someone please tell me how to tell if my saxonys are show quality?
what are the show colour requirements?

Not sure about the drake he is nice but the 2 ducks are perfect, just love them [smilie=a_cookiemonster.gif] lucky you.....

storm, it depends on where u get them from i payed $50 each but they absolutly worth it i already have 9 ducklings from them an they are gorgeous!
these ones are rare breed bantams

They are beautiful little ducks, but unfortunately, colourwise @ least, they aren't quite up to standard. Saxony ducks (females) should have the creamy white facial & throat markings & yours don't. They look to be dusky based (as opposed to wild-type)? Your drake doesn't look too bad to me but maybe his claret is extending a little too far along the upper thigh, & neck ring may be incomplete? Still, I have found that this can vary some with mine from moult to moult.

Thanks for that drayllor i will try and get some better photos of them sometime soon.
i have 9 ducklings and they have the markings on their face so i will put some pics of them up too an you can tell me what ya think.

i have 4 light coloured and 2 dark coloured do you know if they are just different colours or male and female?
