Hi there, the parents are very cute little ducks, the drake looks quite alright as far as markings go (I think from the photo at least) but the ducks I personally would not be using for showing or in a breeding program if trying for pure saxony, will be fine for just backyard type bantam ducklings. Would be better if you are hoping to breed the best quality saxony that you can to try and track down better quality birds.
I keep and breed large saxony ducks, the 4 lighter coloured ducklings on the right hand side of your photo do look very typical of saxonies but the other two darker ones definitely not.
Keep an eye on them as the grow, would be good to see how they all turn out.
When it comes time to sell them (if you are going to) I would be inclined to sell them just as bantam ducks rather than calling them saxonies so as not too dissapoint anyone expecting saxonies.
In the meantime have fun with them, messy little critters they are  :-D
I have a few saxony ducklings running around in the rain making mud puddles as I type, at least something is enjoying all the rain we are getting :-D
Cheers penz

I agree the two dark ducklings are not typical sax so if you’re not too attached I would cull them. Also if the lings don't have better markings then cull the ducks and get a couple of better marked ducks.

It's generally hard to tell what breeds are in the background of ducklings if the parents aren't pure. It could really be anything. Certainly it seems Saxony features heavily but whatever else is in there would be guesswork unless you could speak to the person you bought them from. Is that a possibility for you?
