Is that semi white wood duck a cross bred? looks like it has some call duck in it? can you eventually breed it out?

100% pure Australian Wood duck.
An Anas x Chenonetta hybrid would be sterile so there would be little point in introducing a mutation in this way.

There are a lot of white mutation native birds Scrub turkey,Kookaburra ,Wood duck and the list goes on..

I am no expert with waterfowl but it looks 101% like a dilute australian wood duck to me :-D and agree well done a_bravo.gif

Me too but they are not here to my knowledge I am reading up on how they were bred overseas to see if it is possible here?
