Well ... thanks everyone for the first APF online competition . Our Beautifull Trophies ,Rosette, and Prizemoney arrived in the mail yesterday . The Trophies and Rossette are absolutely amazing , and we thank you heaps for such a proffessional show. We have put the prizemoney back where it belongs . Back in the hands of another serious Breeder . Our Freind ' Henry Surtees ' is one of the countrys most reputable breeders , exhibitors and Judges . and breeds some of the best Black Australorpes in the state if not the country . He recently showed a team of Australorpes at the Royal Brisbane , where he won Best Australorpe Cockbird , Best Australorpe Cockerel , Best Australorpe Hen , and Best pair of Australorpe pullets ( which are now sold ) the only thing Henry didn't win in the Australorpes was The Australorpe pullet class , in which he was beaten by 'John Gibson' as John's birds are all very closely related to my Australorpes . I thought a good combination would be to put our Male back over some of Henrys and see what we can do with the Offspring . We're all pretty excited about it , and expect to see some outstanding Progeny from the combination . We thank you heaps for the very generous Prizemoney and are happy and proud to put the money back into the poultry community . To help continue the Lines these older Breeders have dedicated their love of Poultry to .
We would Especially like to Thank the Judges . Peacocks Australia . The Australian Poultry Forum . Admin . all of the other entrants .for their contributions .

Lucky you, I would love to have some of Henry's stock, they are first rate as you said. I think it's sensational you have put the money to such a good cause and good luck with your breeding. Looking through the pictures of the prizes I was amazed like many I guess as yes, these people at apf are extremely generous and professional and other sites could learn so much from them. I echo you sentiment bunyanut the show was such a professional one and the prizes were just sensational. We should all give apf a standing ovation.

Thanks Trevor , We are very happy , to inject some of Henrys blood into our Line , as our line is Primarily Hudson and Brown . But we do think Henrys are about as good as it gets when it comes to Australorpes . We love our Australorpes , and of course APF members and Australorpe Club members will be given first choice to any excess stock in the future .We will be posting photos of Henrys two pullets soon.

Hi Ian, It's great to read the prize money will be used in such a constructive way and no doubt will benefit many breeders in the future.

Well done and thank you.

Thanks
P.A

Well the APFtralorps or "Henrys Hens" as we've nicknamed them . have been very busy and we are happy and proud to say the first of the off-spring have been collected by their new owner , and we are also happy it's another APF member with many years breeding under their belt , and we are sure they will do them justice , Hopefully we'll have more in the future for other APF members and Poultry lovers in general to enjoy . Thanks again Guys for your very generous prizemoney , which went towards allowing us to keep another quality Purebred line alive for future breeders , (especially the hens) who are extra special and maybe even a little bit spoilt ;) We are hoping to enter some of the offspring in Nanango's 100th show next year and we will definately be flying the APF flag nice and high  Thanks Ian and Family .
