Just got home and found this little fellow under mum! One chick out of three. One egg hasn't hatched and is still in the nesting box and no sign of the second egg and a second chick :(

I use 2 wooden rabbit hutches I got off ebay and they work great for mum to sit and hatch her eggs then enough room for the chicks when they hatch

Would appreciate if anyone posts photos of the types of accommodation that they use for their broody hens.

Thank you.

I should have said if you buy one you need to put small wire on the floor as the chicks will fall through if its not flat or if you move it with the chicks in it

The Pretty One has gone broody and this time I am better prepared with a rabbit hutch for her and her clutch.

Do I need to put extra chook wire around the bars?

Thank you, kindly
