Is there a law on baiting the foxes in NSW? I have not seen baiting done for years now?

Yes there will be laws to make sure dogs and wildlife aren't poisoned with the baits. It depends on where you live and what is allowed there, the risks to wildlife and pets, and how bad the local fox problem is to stock etc. You can ring your local NSW government department or googlesearch the information. Here's a link I found about 1080 fox poison but there will be more information you can find. http://www.lhpa.org.au/news/prepare-for ... season-now

I'd be more impressed if they were human traps!

I have used the cage traps succesfully here and shot many but the baits is the most effective ,
but it is impossible to get rid off them as they just keep coming in from the surrounds.
I use the traps around the houses and shed so that if our dog or cat gets in you can let them go again.
