Worst thing is when foxes decapitate the poor chooks and leave their heads behind :(

LOL
A kennel and a Dog run is what my Hen house and Hen run were built for in the first place.

Just that the Dog disliked it so much that he would hurt him self just to get out of it.
It was swallows that were living in there before my hens moved in.
The swallows moved out fast.

My father and a good friend built it
its 10 meters long
6 meters wide
and the dog wire is 177 cm tall

The hen house ( ex kennel) has a concrete floor and the walls and gable roof are colourbond
even facing the right way for the summer east.
Hope to post pic's soon

How would this be for a chicken coop?

Ohh, I like that. That's good. Of course minus the dog

Yep def agree with the others. You def need some way to stop those cunning little foxes from digging under & getting the girls.

Just putting the pic's from the mobile ( wildfire) onto the computer
next the camera

A touch worried about the nesting boxes I bought them from Bellsouth late last year just before I had another 6 Isa Browns Can I post Pic's of that item its a three hole foll away nesting boxes?

Not sure if my photo bucket accounts are still active or not but I will go ad check or make a new one.

The hen house is also in two parts Will be doing some reventing ( spelling is not my strong point) early next going to make another pen it will be an indoor pen, for broodies, nursey, sick bay.
Planing to put a window in the north wall there too so that when I do have chicks and houng leghorns they can get their sun needs.
