I get people wanting my home details all the time
if they refuse to understand I dont give out that detail they are welcome to go elsewhere
I meet people (or the transporter after the purchaser agreeing to birds via pictures) in town or sell at my local Club Sale Days or at the Bacchus Marsh Auctions = I dont see any reason to tell anyone where we are so that the dishonest ones can just walk off with everything I have

I will also pull birds OUT of an auction if the asking price is paid and Anitrans is in the area before the auction (have recommended they tally trips with auctions to save dissapointment of those that are interested in the birds and those that have others bidding for them)

Just to add a comment about tattooing.
Because of the thin skin the ink tends to fade fairly quickly and may be unrecognizable after 12 months or so.

It is really sad that the days of being able to share your birds, husbandry & housing methods with other hobbyists and particularly newbies who are eager to learn are now almost gone.
Many great friendships started this way. :(
