Sometimes you can hide it with other greens and they eat it then

Possibly because this time of year in Asutralia, the parsley plants that have over wintered are now bolting and putting on lots of growth in what they want to turn into flower heads. I feed these to the chickens, as they start tasting bitter if left. Meantime, I can keep harvesting the other leaves, whilst my new little parsely plants are putting on spring growth. I guess I just hate to see it go to waste! Eventually I'll just toss the remainder into the compost.

I put it with spinach and broccoli leaves - it all gets eaten in a couple of hours, even if they leave the parsley till last

We have a pot of parsley that they peck at when free ranging.

Some chooks are just fussier than others, some eat any and everything dished out!
