Been getting a few shell less eggs in the last few days. I have narrowed one layer down to a Marans pullet who started laying in the last week or so. She popped one out in front of me so I know who the main culprit is! I have upped the bowls of grit and added it to their food containers. Any suggestions on what else can I do or give them. I am using a mix of 3 different grades of shell grits, one with extra calcium added, but it all depends on if they eat it. |
