Hi
Could someone please tell me how long I should leave the guinea fowl eggs after the 28 days to see if they will hatch.
I had 17 eggs incubated, 1 hatched on time and is very healthy, 1 could not get out of shell, 1 had a gammy leg and has since died. After another 6 days I cracked open the eggs, 4 had what appeared to be fully formed guinea fowl, should I have left them longer to see if they would hatch :?: :?: :?: The others were infertile.

This is my first time at incubating.

Did I do something wrong :?: :?: :?:

Robyn :( :(

The 4 eggs you hatched were the chicks alive or died?

All of my eggs were the same with half formed babies this time. I put it down to the weather as it was so hot

Its more likely they didn't mate properly then the males being infertile, some guinea fowl hens especially young ones won't allow the males to mate even though you might think they have

Did you use an incubator? if you did, did you check the humidity on day 26 to 28?
