Yes I have asked around at a few places but they either don't know what I'm talking about or didn't know they existed! So I'm not holding my breath.

Hi Cinnguinea,

No I asked at a few zoos and wildlife parks in Adelaide and none had any o,r knew when they were possibly going to be available (if ever) due to quarantine laws. I think thee will have to admire these ones just as pics for now!

Here's hoping they are already in the country.
Current biosecurity regulations prevents the legal importation of birds and most eggs (including guinea fowl eggs).

We would never suggest illegal import th_Noooo.gif ;) but good you said MOST and no wrong guinea eggs are not an excluded commercial egg ;)

The advice I received earlier this year was that guinea fowl eggs were not permitted, the only poultry eggs allowed were domestic hens, domestic turkeys and domestic ducks.
You might have been fortunate enough to obtain different advice, and Biosecurity and DAFF keep updating their policies so this might have changed as well.
