Well I know they are super tough because a few times I have dropped eggs from 3 feet high and still set them and yep they all hatched so they are built tough inside and out

I would imagine the membrane would be 2 or 3 times as strong as a chickens eggs as the guineas pile up their eggs and are not gentle with them

The chalaza is thicker than chicken eggs and its the key to why they are a tough egg

They are the most robust of all the fowl eggs I have seen. I have hatched many eggs that were 21 days old and the keets were in perfect condition as usual

So when your store them do you just store them in the house or in a special cooler place?

I store mine in the laundry and usually for 15-20 days then I have enough to fill the incubator and I can say I get 80% to hatch every time
