All these are true red eyes and all are sex-linked. As you can see they all have the same eye colour "red eyes" because they have a genuine red eye colouring and so officially named and referred to as "red eyes" the Cinnamon and Silver guinea fowls are also officially named and referred to as "red eyes" as logical being "red eye" sex-linked.

Some pet names have been used by some such as

Ruby eyes
Plum eyes
Strawberry eyes
Cherry eyes
ect...

However these are not correct and only refer to fruit and gem stones.

Myth 1) The gene (i+) is present in Cinnamon or Silver (red eye)
i + = lavender
This is rubbish

(i+) is NOT present in Cinnamon or Silver (red eye) Silver is not + but cinnamon is

Okay.
So when you breed a cinnamon to a lavendar, none of the offsping carry the lavendar gene.
I understand they wouldn't be visibly lavendar, what happens to the lavendar gene?

As you know Carlise we have had this conversation many times but again Cinnamon x lavender = (C) (i+/c+s) --- (H) (c+s) What most overlook especially these know it all newcomers with 5 minutes experience is phenotype V genotype and which is which with cinnamon and silver thats the important factor and they don't know because it won't come up in a google search
