Hi All,
I have 4 king quail (silver). Hen has layed 4 eggs in a corner of the aviary. Will she go broody and set on them? and do i need to remove the males?
thanks Simon :P

they usually share sitting duties if i remember correctly, if they start pestering her, i would remove maybe 2 of them.

are they all the fathers or has only one been mounting her ?

yeah..... they take a while to lay a full clutch, and the number of eggs in a clutch varies quite a bit.

just keep an eye on her. FWIW incubation period is 2 weeks,

what kind of cage is she in ?
