hi to all guinea lovers,

Have decided to get into guineas again, this time with the intent of penning them every night, my teenage lavendars are very well behaved and go to bed each night.

I have just bought some cinnamon and pearl keets....

Now, I am wondering, do the different coloured guineas all grow to about the same size and weight?

If not, which colour grows the biggest?

All mine are the same size but I do think the cinnamon grow slower than the others but do end up the same size

I think so but the others here would know better as they have had them longer

My cinnamon and silver guineas are the same size as the lavenders I don't have the pearls but they are always the same size as lavender anyway

Yes same size as adults but with both silver and cinnamon (red and dark eye) high protein 25-30% from birth is VERY important

Good to read this mine were slower to grow than the other colours but then I did not know about the protein and I think I cut them off the starter too soon

Live and learn hey, cheers
