Today I found my missing Guinea Fowl hen sitting on 25 eggs! I didn't realize they would still be laying so late in the season. I have put her back to bed, and popped the eggs into my incubator. She was very cranky with me! But I couldn't take the risk leaving her outside unprotected. Hopefully I will have a few more babies to add to my flock soon :)

congt334 its good to find the nest and stop them for their sake. I found a nest on sunday that had 42 eggs but I knew it was in the area as I have been watching. They are breeding later this year but then they did start later so makes sense

Is it normal for the guineas to still be wanting to nest now? I thought they stopped in feb? I found a small nest so should I leave them and will they hatch this time of year. I don't have an incubator or a broody chook to use
