The answer is no we don't have any meat breed guinea fowls in Australia. I do like the size of the french guineas but they are bred for eating and that's not what the oz guineas are bred for

I asked a mate who works for the CSIRO and yep your right Ace NO commercial guineas here NONE he said some farms have guineas but they are just the same as ours NO BIGGER and just pearl and lavender. He said there was some bulldust going around about the 'commercial guinea fowl' ones but its all bulldust. I like them the size they are anyway

I thank you for honesty I did do the google and found no records of them or any larger breed in your country so I though it was not possible. I am enjoying your site very good for our native fowls

Some 'homies' have no idea so easy to make it up than actually know :roll: :lol: as I said they do not exist here thats just a fact

Not many restaurants serve guinea fowl so I doubt it maybe in 10-20 years
