Can the guinea fowls be pet tamed like the chooks can so they will take foods from my hand?

My guineas used to eat white millet seeds from my hand when they were younger. As they aged, they seemed to become less eager to get too close, but a few would still eat millet out of my hand. All of the keets and adults would run close to bite off bits of lettuce from a lettuce leaf heal out to them. So, I guess the answer for guineas (here in the U.S. at least) would be yes!
