I pickled some Jap Quail eggs. I didn't taste any as it was a gift for my uncle. He loved them. I told him I hoped he made them last because I wasn't making them again. Boiling and peeling Quail eggs. Aaagh!

Hi,

Just wondering about the Jumbo Japanese Quail. Was wanting to acquire some for meat birds.
I see this thread has been going for a while so hopefully someone has got there hands on some soozorps, matt, youri???

Have an incubator and ready to go!

my father inlaw works at a quail farm, im dont know what breed they are ? if there jumbo size or not ?


but they are very nice to eat , :-D

I saw some big Jap Quail at a pet shop in Albury. They were twice the size of mine, but the staff member I talked to did not know much about them. They were $19 each.

I have jap quails but I don't know if they are jumbo or not? are they much bigger than normal?

Sorry for the slow response but I am still looking for jumbo quails. I will be going Albury in a few weeks. Do you remember the pet shop you saw the larger quails in?
