So.... I've got myself a Speckled Sussex rooster now but I've got a variance of breeds (mostly commercial), but that got me to thinking  ....if I have a speckled Sussex rooster & I incubate a fertile egg from him crossing with one of my Isa browns, will the chicks come out like an Isa or will they be more like a heritage breed like the Sussex?Also, will this mean they'll have a longer life span than a normal Isa? hmmmThoughts....anyone? They will have both genes so the best and worst of both breeds |
