Since we have been keeping chookies we have started to collect chookware.

My dad came home with a rooster themed Romanian enamel milk pot also the little ornament pictured, he told mum that it reminded him of her!

It would be great to see anyone else's chookware.

Thank you, kindly 52.gif

I HAD a little glass rooster.... no idea where it is. i tried to find it to put it here too... when confronting the kid he looks pretty guilty. Maybe the rooster has had the same fate as the little glass elephant i had.... smashed in a million pieces (by accident, but 9yr old boys dont fess up even to accidents ! )

The chickens have a little pot plant stake/ornament on their pen, right on the door. It is a little wooden rooster and oh so cute ! i should take a photo of that too.

I was nearly convinced to buy a chicken microwave egg poacher today. but being made in china and no mention of BPA free i didn't just incase. So no chicken egg poacher for me :(

I am always on the look out though for cute chicken things. I often see them but they are far from cute or nice looking. I am pretty darn picky when i comes to things cluttering my house. They really have to be useful or really beautiful to display.

There are heaps of chicken related cooking/baking tools. Spoons, egg cups and slices. Hope you have lots of room. sidesplit.gif

This is Rodger The Rooster.... Isn't he a handsome man.

Image

He lives right next to my bed now. just because i like looking at him.
The chickens (real chickens my hens) are actually scared of him. I put him on the grass when they were out and about and they all freaked and took off ! LOL
So now he lives in my room near my bed and not out near the chicken pen where i intended to put him.

Hi, BFLF wave.gif ,

Though not as handsome as your Roger, my dad brought home an ornamental rooster for the garden too, the girls keep well way from him...

hahahahaha... love it !

Aren't they funny things.... i thought because it looked like a chicken and was the same size as the chickens, that they would like Rodger. or at least tolerate the presence of Rodger. but no.... they are a 5 girl gang only.

i like your rooster ! it looks great !

I dont think Rodger will go outside again. His 5 minute visit was enough. He can stay with me now. ;) i might even go back and get some hens that match with Rodger.
But then they will be too many for the bed side table.... so will think about it.
