Sad thing I heard today the person who has Lord Francis told me that Lord Francis bit him.

Now I was like [smilie=eek2.gif] totally shocked and said that does not sound like him.

Lord Francis always treated me with total respect and always the gentleman.

He always called the girls in when I was putting feed in the feeder as well as keeping them out of the hen house when I was taking out the night soil.

Possibly separation anxiety and adjustment disorder, this is the 3rd time in a short period of time that Lord Francis has moved house.

The gentleman might just need to pick up Lord Francis and give him a cuddle to obtain his trust.

Animals can behave differently at different locations with different people

Animals that are treated badly can often strike out at the one who provokes them......

Respectfully you have no idea how people treat their animals when you are not around.

I had a beautiful natured dog that was just wonderful with babies and children and anyone else who came in contact with him. We had friends look after him, who said he was just beautiful.....and then we got complained about for having 3 dogs so we had to sell him :( , then the guy who bought him.....shot him because he said the dog bit him. [smilie=a_holycrap.gif]

We found out later from one of his relatives that he abused animals.we had no idea when we sold our beautiful dog to him and were so mad & sad when we found out that he had killed him.

I really believe that even the most well mannered animal will strike out if provoked badly enough.

It is in the realm of possibility.......as its always the nice ones you have to watch out for.

Just had to put that out there.

Sorry Yas to hear about SiR Francis' situation.

That was just so sad to read about your poor dog Chicka-Dee

I HATE so called "people" who abuse poor defenceless animals, they are God's creatures.

Can the genes play a part I wonder?

Genetics can be a factor in behavioural traits, as can environment and training and treatment and respect for the animal.

separation anxiety is what I have been though with out his lovleyness

And I did love him totally and sat him on my lap for a cuddle. ran to his defence when ever Grace started pulling out feathers from him.

And none is his fault I believe

His frist move was because he was a boy the second was because I was told I could not keep him since he is a cross breed.

True Chicka I cannot see how the fellow treats his animals.

Thank you Loo Loo
