We have a Broody hen that has decided to nest on the ground. What do you think our chances
are of successfully moving her to a box. chicken4.gif

Well done, if you've done it once then you'll be able to do it again.

Those broodies are stubborn once they have their mind set on sitting.

It the whole trance thing that spins me out. chicken4.gif

My Clara is a real champion, if your girl is half as good as Clara is, then you'll have lil babies running around very soon.

What sort of hen do you have billy?

Cheers
Chicka-Dee

Hi Chicka-Dee,
We have many breeds of chooks here. From Pekins to Wyandottes, and silkies.

Pekins range from Millefleur's. Blues. Splash. Buff. Mottle.

Large Wyandottes Gold and silver.

Bantam Wyandottes gold and silver.

And a trio of silkies. White rooster. white hen. black hen.

For many years we have had chooks and now are into Peafowls.

Stop talking, your making me sickly jealous

I suppose you've got heaps of roosters for every breed you own too huh :?:

But tell me how did you do with the 2nd move? Was it as successful as the first [smilie=a_goodjobson.gif]

Hi Chicka-Dee,
2nd move was successful. Both hens are on silkie eggs and due
out before the 20th June. Hope to have chickens. Yes we do have
roosters for every breed.
