Hi,

Can someone out there tell me if it is OK to medicate my Sussex hen with Oxymave through a crop feeding needle? She sounds like she has a respiratory problem, ( coughing). I normally isolate her and put the medication in her drinking water, but she does not drink much of it. Just want to get the proper dosage down her. I know how to crop feed correctly.

Thanks guys.

I think this is what you need

Crop Needles – The do's and dont's
Every bird breeder around the world should feel confident with a bird in one hand and a MEDICATION TUBE(crop needle) in the other. There is no other drug, piece of equipment or tool in the bird keeper’s first aid kit that can make a bigger impact on whether a sick bird lives or dies
