Wonderful information. I'm not sure if the topic exists but can is it possible if somebody could take photos of what a normal developing egg should look like being candeled at various stages of development. I'm still finding my feet with artificial incubation and it would be really helpful.

Hey fuzzy_dragonfly Kylie found this great set of photos on the web and posted it in incubation and chick section

Just what I think you are looking for. It certainly helped me when I came to candle eggs for the first time.

OK well I'm seeing blood rings is that normal? I think my incubator is set too low, I have had some sucessful hatches but those were from eggs at later stages of development.

You should transfer your post to the incubation and chicks sectio so you can get better viewing and answers.

Blood rings are not good. Usually indicates the chisk has died.
