I try. The ATC-300 micro-computer temperature controller (thermostat) switches the lights on at 38 and off at 39. The outdoor probes on the eggs in the Kevatron have been reading between about 36.5 and 38.5. Eggs are supposed to hold their temp reasonably well for short periods. Last night after day 7 candling I cracked open the top of the only infertile egg (which happened to be the only one from Big Rex's pen) and jammed the thermometer probe in there. I came back a few minutes later to read it and it said 32.4. It had only been out of the incubator for 10-15 minutes. All of the other eggs (24) were from Soup's pen and all showed signs of development. So, the temperature is "right enough" in the Kevatron. |

well you must be doing somthing right! the incubator i will be using will have temp set at 37.5 |

Still air incubators temp is set a bit higher at 103 deg F as the sensor and thermo are usually set at the level of the top of the egg. MY auto turn fan incubator is set at 37.7C |

It means the % of humidity in the air inside the incubator verses the dry air |

How far after the due date should i wait? the eggs are 3 days past the due date |
