I don't show cheap to buy a trophy but I wanted to say I have used metal leg rings for 15 years so good to see a club finally catching up with every other hobby

I think with rings on poultry,you wouldn't be able to ring the large breeds, as chickens,
the rings would fall off. th_Noooo.gif

You can leg ring any chicken breed and they don't come off I have been leg ringing for 25 years and breeds like orpingtons to oeg bantams and they stay on for life. Its long over due they were accepted and become main stream practice

No they don't fall off their claw joins prevent that

Thats right looloo they stay on like all other adult birds unless you cut them off if they are the metal rings. It is good to see some common sense finally with this issue as leg ring should be part and parcel of showing fowl as they are in ALL other birds

I think introducing a leg ring system to show fowl in the best idea any club has ever had and yes like everyone here. its long overdue
