Andy,
Do you mean more brick rather than v shape? RI should be a brick on legs. Looking at the photo there is a lack of front and bowl development compared to the back line.

Bill and Carly,
This seems a harder task than I was expecting to find a photo of a Rose comb male. Have a look on the RI Northern Branch club facebook site. In the Wauchope 2013 show shows a Male, while not perfect you can notice the differences. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rhode-Is ... ern-Branch.
Note that all Rhode Islands regardless of colour and comb should have the same type (Body shape). So also have a look at some of the RIR males.
