I have not read it but it seems cheap enough [£8.00] I may buy it and see. Its only 64 pages not sure how many colour plates it has ect...

Here are 2 reviews

Review on book
By Vanfroyenhoven The first part is mostly about the history of peacocks and the use/misuse of peacocks in the ancient history.
The second part is more on the peacock itself, on the housing, the treatments, the diseases. I found this part the most interesting as this was the info I was looking for and never could find.
Published 19 months ago by Vanfroyenhoven

slightly disappointing, 5 May 2011
By Ms. R. Gardner This review is from: Peacocks: Past and Present (Gold Cockerel Books) (Paperback)
When I read the detail of the book on here I expected there to be a lot more to it than what actually arrived on my doorstep. Its a small, quick read with some lovely pictures and although it is interesting it frankly skims over the top of what ought to be a more detailed and valued history of the peacock in both eastern and western cultures. I would recommend this to be bought at a cheaper price than advertised.

i made the same mistake,,,, think borders are in the process of closing down OZ,,, or at least in serious reduction... the net has really hurt companies like that.
