I am terribly jealous of the wonderfull list of birds everyone has.
At the moment I only have a canary named Henry, a budgie named Budgie, and a budgie named Bluey.
I used to have a galah named Cocky, a king parrot named Solomon, an alaxandrine named Bongo and a Major Mitchell named Michelle who were all hand tame and had heaps of character. They make the best buddies don't they?

I have a galah named jackie .. an absolute loon. Loves a scratch and throws her food and bowl around.
I have a sulphur crest cockatoo named charlie brown. He is a mongrel sometimes but will let us scratch him. But wont sit on hand.
My rosey burkes aren't tame but just so cute.
My Indian ringnecks and cockatiels are not tame.

I had a butcher bird that I raised from a wee baby as he fell out of his nest. He was very tame. Would sit on my shoulder, come into the house and ride on my horses neck or backside while I was riding. He left home when he was about 18 months old as the parents must have chased hime away. He turned up at my girlfriend place who lives two streets over the back from me.

She has sooooooooooooo many parrots. she has sun conures, 3 eclectus, corellas, galahs, rosellas (all colours), cockatiels, blue and green gang gangs, 4 king parrots, burke parrots, all types of finches and the list goes on. They breed them and she always takes the babies and hand rears them and they are so friendly and tame. I am getting a little girl eclectus (spelling?) when her new pair breed after she has hand reared it and it is friendly. She does a fantastice job with her birds.

She also has a blue ring neck parrot which I found at my place injured when he was only young, fully feathered. A crow of eagle must have got him and he got away. I took him to Anna to nurse through, We advertised him as found but no one ever claimed him. Now he lives with Anna and her family and talks the house down. He is not so friendly as he will have a bite at you but talk.
