Our thoughts are with soozorps and all those down in Gippsland during yet another horrendous bushfire.

just came in to the forum with a cuppa after a few 'busy days'

I'm OK folks
and thanks for the concern but it is those east of me that really need our thougths and after the fires are gone our help

just so everyone knows = easiest way to explain it to non Gippslanders
Gippsland covers the whole east half of VIC which is very upsetting to those that dont know our half of the state well.
it is actually 'sectional' and referred to as South Gippy, East Gippy, Nth East Gippy/Monaro and West Gippy all clumped under just Gippy by the Media (being easier for them  )

the fires are abt 2hrs drive (in a straight line) north east of me and mine (abt 3hrs by road) - if you look at a map of VIC look for Sale and Lakes Entrance then draw a triangle with the point northward of them with the point abt half way to the NSW boarder = the top half of that triangle is the area that is in trouble

again = thanks for the concern - I am humbled by such friends

Glad that you are safe, I didn't know which part of Gippsland you were in.

So saddened by the devastation of yet another bushfire in Victoria :(

Glad to hear you are safe Soozorps!

I agree PP, it is terrible and I thought I saw something on the news about it possibly being deliberately lit, I cannot believe how anyone would want to commit an act that destroys and take so many lives. th_Noooo.gif
