I have been reading through the forums here and even though I have just scratched the surface I think my head is going to explode with information overload. There is just so much to read here I will need 5 life times at least I think I will need to pace myself from here on.

I must thank you for the forum its easy to see why its so popular and so loved by many.

When I joined I decided to focus on the areas most interesting for me and that helped limit frying my brain with to much info all at once and its not possible to read it all as new stuff comes on every second.

Good advice CP a little study every day is the way to go I think as others have pointed out the forum is the biggest poultry recourse on the planet so it can be overwhelming for some but a little each day will keep you sane

Its nice having local information here as well! I often used to get caught up with US sites & whilst they were good they have different supplies & such so can be impractical at times. 52.gif

Thats a good point Sally and I think a few did join the only other big poultry forum called BYC not knowing its American but Nifty has done some good there since he purchased it but its still 100% american and yes much/most info not applicable to other parts of the world like Aust, NZ, UK ect... still not a worry APF is the equal or much bigger to the american site so we look after the rest of the world and do it very well.

When I searched google for poultry back years ago the first 6 results were 4 APF and 2 BYC I looked at byc but yes I knew it was a foreign site so did not join and joined APF of course. Best decision of my life than657
