G'day Peter,

I don't keep doves and pigeons at the moment, I used to over the years. I've kept Diamonds, Peacefuls, Masks (Cape) and Talpacotti.

I work with a large variety of Pigeons and Doves at work anyway. We have most species of Natives and a few Foreign such as Bleeding Heart Pigeons, White-breasted Ground-doves, Ruddy Turtle Doves and Nicobar Pigeons. We did have Barbary and Senegal doves once upon a time.

I believe the chicken came first.

I had a pair on an aviary with finches, and the male tried and tried for a couple months until he finally succeeded in mating with her.
maybe it will just take some more time ?
