Hi,

I heard you can Import pigeons & there eggs from countrys outside of Australia. How much is it to do this ? If I could import any pigeon it would be the Victorian Crownd or the Pheasant Pigeon. Anything beautiful I guess. lol.

Thanks, Jesse.

At those prices per bird I'd rather be spending my money on trying to work out a way to freeze semen for AI's in poultry and than bring straws in from overseas for use here.Much as they do with dogs, cats, horses, cattle etc etc etc.

Actually now thats a thought for a new thread.

Maybe Jase can put a link up for all of us for this info Jesse.

Hi,

Yer. I think AUS does have the VCP (Victorian crownd pigeon) But isnt it like $40,000 ? How much is it to import pigeon eggs then ? Do you need a special incubator to hatch there eggs in ?

Thanks, Jesse.

Hi,

Hmm . . . ok. Thanks. Are the Victorian crownd pigeon & the pheasant pigeon classified as fancy pigeons ?

Thanks, Jesse.
