Hi, I heard you can Import pigeons & there eggs from countrys outside of Australia. How much is it to do this ? If I could import any pigeon it would be the Victorian Crownd or the Pheasant Pigeon. Anything beautiful I guess. lol. Thanks, Jesse. |

At those prices per bird I'd rather be spending my money on trying to work out a way to freeze semen for AI's in poultry and than bring straws in from overseas for use here.Much as they do with dogs,cats,horses,cattle etc etc etc. Actually now thats a thought for a new thread. Maybe Jase can put a link up for all of us for this info Jesse. |

Hi, Yer. I think AUS does have the VCP (Victorian crownd pigeon) But isnt it like $40,000 ? How much is it to import pigeon eggs then ? Do you need a special incubator to hatch there eggs in ? Thanks, Jesse. |

hi guys, from what i have heard, only birds are allowed in the country, no eggs at all , there is a place in melbourne victoria where the birds are housed , i think it is the AQIS. also i think its only domestic pigeons my highflyer strain is from turkey and it cost the guy over $8000 to get some here |

hi jesse nope they are not and as far as i no we have only 4 male Victorian Crownd Pigeons in a zoo |
