Would it be ok to mix painted buttons with silver king quails in the same cage on a permanent basis?

No they need separate aviaries unless your aviary is massive and I mean massive over a few hundred sqft

Oh ok I was hoping you would say yes. Is it because they would breed together or fight?

They fight and trust me they do I have tired it 3 times and not good every time. I have the some trouble now with the cinnamon and lavender guinea fowls they hate each other [smilie=a_doh.gif]

My quails always fight buy never too bad that they never hurt each other
