For those of you interested in Californian Quails, I saw this on farmstock.com.au http://www.farmstock.com.au/Classifieds/sale/51860.html I dunno if that's a good deal or not, but it didn't mention the quails in the title, so I just found it by chance. |

I had a guy come and buy some Belgians off me mid last year and we have kept in touch on and off since we discovered that we both love Californians.......well come Thursday I will have eggs in my bator!! Happy dancing around the dining room ![]() ![]() |

New question for you now..... Which of the good egg laying breeds are the quitest? Or do their bird calls blend in with the back ground noise a bit more than chickens? - Vicky |

jap quail males can be vocal not very loud but if they have a few hens they should be quiet |
