What Do Quails Eat, I Really Wont To Get A Pair Of Quails But I Dont Know What Thay Eat..

i feed our quails turkey starter mainly because i have that on hand for my chicks ect,higher in proein but chick starter is o.k.
also we give them greens, grass spinach cut up.

You can buy "game bird breeder" which is the best fed for them.

Starter would not be quite as good as it is not designed for adult birds, but does have the high protien they require. Medicines are often added to starter which are not required, and eggs are recommended not to be eaten from birds eating starter.

Adult quails you feed them finch or small parrot mix I use 50/50 of each, some greens like silverbeet and seeding grasses which is reallly important in breeding time

Mine eat budgie seed and parrot seed just remember to give em some green vegies and some seeding grass they love that
