Thanks for that info Guinea.
Have you had problems with your stock being wiped out by disease?
I believe most of the commercial breeders have periodically had mass die-offs of crickets and had to depopulate & restock.

Do you feed the live food in rations and just fill up a bowl with worms. I have used white ants for a few years now and I feed them in bulk via a greased bowl so they can't escape and they tend to last the whole day but not sure if that’s the way to go with worms

How do you go in summer with the heat I found the worms die quick. Have you tried to refrigerate them at all?

You can put them in the crisper of your fridge then keep them from turning into beetles and also from running away when you feed them to your quails

Has anyone had much success with breeding crickets that can be sustained with feeding quail chicks every second day. I wipe mine out within a month and have to start again

Does anyone feed live food to california quails? Mine don’t seem to be that interested in worms so wondering if I should try crickets.
