Preparing Mussies for show

How do people prepare their Mussies before a show? I'm new to the show scene but not Mussies and am looking to learn any tips and tricks people may use.

Im open to suggestions on how long should I have em in pens to get and keep em clean before a show?

48 hours is plenty of time or follow this advice

If you use white sand then they will stay clean

although I recon my birds may need more that 48 hrs in the clean sand as theyre mud fiends never clean lol

You can give them a light bath before you pen them and that way they will be clean and stay clean
