Is there a good breed of goose that is more friendly than the others?
I have currently 4 almond colour ducks on our dam

Hi there,

They do get along to a certain degree, they eat the same food and have the same requirements. They will all need a safe place to go at night as Sebastopols don't live on the water all the time (neither does anything else). If you are going to get pairs then you will find that geese can be quite agressive during breeding season which for Sebs is around September.

Not really, no, foxes do swim contrary to popular belief and all geese and ducks need shelter from rain and wind.

How do you find the mixing of geese breeds together?
I have brown chinese geese but now would like to ad sebs to the flock should I expect trouble?

If you mix them then expect some trouble when its time to breed most geese are territorial but if they free range on a big property then you may be ok?

Is it just the ganders that may have a go at each other or the gooses as well?
