Hi, I came across Carefree Coops the other day, I think that they are a great idea.

http://www.carefreecoops.co.uk/

I know that there are a couple of people that sell them in Victoria but they are rather eggspensive and wondered if there was anyone locally in Australia who made a similar product.

I don't think so, because I have also been looking. I thought they would make an ideal second coop for when (hopefully a long time away!) I need to replace any chickens. We have a suburban backyard and I have 4 chooks. I was thinking about when I got 2-3 more pullets and where I could keep them during quarantine. These plastic coops would be great, because when I have integrated them all, I can disinfect it, disassemble it and pop it away until the next time I need it.

They look so cool! I may just have to save up......

Thanks for the great question, I'll keep an eye on the thread to see if anyone else knows more

It would be ideal if someone produced something similar in Australia.

They even do a run.

There are quite a variety of plastic chook coops on the UK eBay.

Thanks Yas for your efforts, that's why I am looking for a locally made one from similar materials.

I had already found that there are two suppliers in Victoria, prices start from $485 to $900 with run.
