Mine were $30 a pair so 40 in not too high but yes as long as you don't have to drive a long way to get them

Are the chickers a flying birds or do they live on the ground like quails?
Do they mix ok with finches?

They spend most of their time on the ground like quail, but are very good flyers when they need to make a quick escape.

Mine are the same they spend most of the day on the ground but if you corner them they fly up and at night they sleep on the perches with the other parrots and finches

Same as mine but I have all my chucks together with no other birds because I have over 70 chucks now

Mine mix happily with other species when adult, but in the brooder like to peck at other species, even bigger ones.

Same I tried some pheasants chicks but the chucks pecked them too

They are fairly common but not allot written about them in aust most treat them as quails I think
