Being new to pheasants I have only many common types and have never seen the banded pieds before but would love to import them, they would be popular here in the states

I have normal golden pheasants but i have never seen anything like those banded pieds they are orsum i would like to get them when they are released congratulations on breeding them peacocks australia orsum

Just a quick responce to NSW PHEASANTS I have been playing around with avian genetics for the last 40 years, so I do have a little more than basic knowledge .However I did seek some advice from probably one of the most recognised authorities on genetics in this country and my last post on this subject was based on infomation received from him and I stand by what I have said .Selective breeding may stabilize a mutation but it is extremely unlikely to create one.

Does he the genetics authority have a name???? and quallification details please ect.... You can believe whatever you like Menil no skin off my nose but the facts are the facts if you what to ignore them that’s up to you. I go with PA who has actually done it so he would know first hand.
